Split Seven ~ Abe Lincoln Jr. vs. Robbie Busch ~ Art Show!

After many years of talking about this with my man Abe Lincoln Jr. ~
I'm super psyched that we have teamed up for our show, Split Seven!
It's a virtual battle of the bands between the
mellifluous metal mayhem of
Abe Lincoln Jr. and the
Promethean punk propaganda of Robbie Busch.
We have created fictional bands complete with fans, records & merch...
all presented through a variety of mediums!
The show is at Mighty Tanaka in B'klyn & opens on Friday, November 16th, from 6pm - 9pm!

I hope to see you all there!!!

New pieces for Too Art for TV 6 group show!

I've been working on a whole lot of new art over the last couple of months & have a couple of shows happening in New York this November...
1st up is the Too Art for TV 6 show ~ opening this Friday!  Thanks to Liz @ the Bunnycutlet Gallery ~
I hope to see ya there...
6:00pm until 10:00pm
158 Roebling Street, Brooklyn NY 11211
"We are excited to invite you to TOO ART FOR TV 6 - the sixth annual group exhibition for the animation industry AND the debut of Bunnycutlet Gallery in Brooklyn (Williamsburg, NY)!!

Featuring new works by 44 artists, including first time Too Art exhibitor Vincent Scala, whose large acrylic paintings combine animation, horror, and comedy with vibrant colors. Also featuring paintings by Too Art veterans Kelly Denato and Jessica Milazzo - though their work differs aesthetically, they share a unique ability to
mix metaphor and humor with a beautiful illustrator’s hand. Isam Prado’s drawings, while delicately drawn, are portraits of internal distress and bitter violence, contrasted with Christy Karacas’s massive-scale drawings, which energetically explode with cats, robots, and comic violence."

New Gallery in Brooklyn

My friend Liz is trying to raise money to open a new gallery in B'klyn and is getting really close to her goal.
Please check out the Too Art Kickstarter & pick up a nifty print of my painting "Puzzled"!
There are a bunch of great prize levels with work from some very talented artists ~ including:
Jackson Publick, Devin Clark, Liz Artinian, Kelly Denato,
Chris George, Jared Deal + more!

McBoing Boing @ the Fountain Art Fair

Artlog Public Opening Reception: Friday March 9, 7pm-11pm

Contemporary art gurus Artlog host Fountain’s Public Opening Reception, featuring an appearance by the defiant art-improv collective Art Liars, undeniably danceable beats by NSR, a live performance by psych-rockers Spirit Animal, and a DJ set by New York legend and street art pioneer Fab 5 Freddy—who will also be exhibiting his artwork. Also be sure to catch Hairachy, a 17-minute multidimensional aerial performance by Seanna Sharpe and Mad Sharpe Production, presented by Creamhotel.

McBoing Boing x Argonaut Resins ~ HELL CATS!

I've teamed up again with Argonaut Resins to start the launch of the all new 8 inch Tuttz artist custom series. The series will include a Mono gray tone Hell Cat, a Hell freeze over blue Hell Cat, a Hell Cat light and 2 Hell Cats dark. These 5 customs will go on sale Tuesday March 6 at 10PM Est. time in the Argonaut Resins online STORE.
